Feature

Custom Fields

Add any field to your leads — policy numbers, property IDs, subscription tiers, anything. First-class filtering and sorting included.

Overview

Nexora Suite's custom fields let you add any data point to a lead record — policy number, property ID, subscription tier, anything. Custom fields are first-class: you can filter, sort, search, and report on them just like built-in fields.

Key Benefits

Any field, any type

Add text, number, date, or dropdown fields to any lead. No SQL knowledge required, no schema migrations — just click 'New field', pick a type, and it appears on every lead record immediately.

First-class filtering

Custom fields aren't second-class citizens. You can filter, sort, and search by them in the lead list, in Kanban, and on the dashboard — exactly like built-in fields.

Preserved on import

When you import a CSV with columns that don't match standard fields, Nexora Suite creates custom fields for them automatically. Your unique data comes with you, no rework required.

How It Works

  1. 1

Go to Settings → Custom Fields

Open the custom fields panel in your workspace settings.

  2. 2

Add a field with a type

Give it a name, pick a type (text, number, date, dropdown), and optionally mark it required.

  3. 3

    It appears on every lead

The new field immediately shows up on every existing and future lead. Backfill existing leads or leave them empty until the data arrives.

Every sales team has at least one piece of data that standard CRM fields can't capture. For real estate agents it's the MLS number. For insurance brokers it's the policy renewal date. For SaaS teams it's the subscription tier. Most CRMs force you to stuff this data into a 'notes' field, where it's unsearchable and un-filterable — or charge extra for custom fields as a premium feature.

Nexora Suite makes custom fields a core capability, not an upsell. Adding a field takes 30 seconds, the field works like a built-in one (sortable, filterable, searchable), and there's no limit on how many you can create. Your CRM adapts to your process instead of forcing your process to adapt to the CRM.

Custom fields also make import clean. When you upload a spreadsheet with columns the CRM doesn't recognize — 'territory', 'product interest', 'last contract value' — Nexora Suite creates custom fields for each one automatically. Your historical data comes with you exactly as it was.

Common Use Cases

  • Insurance brokers tracking policy numbers and renewal dates
  • Real estate agents tracking MLS IDs and property type
  • SaaS companies tracking subscription tier and monthly revenue
  • Recruiting firms tracking candidate specialties and availability

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a limit on how many custom fields I can create?
No practical limit. You can create as many as your sales process needs. We recommend keeping the total under 20-30 for usability — more than that and the lead detail page gets hard to scan.
What field types are supported?
Text (single line or multiline), number, date, and dropdown (single-select). Most sales data fits into these four types. More exotic types like file upload and checkbox are on the roadmap.
Can I rename or delete a custom field later?
Yes to rename — the data comes with it. Deleting a field will remove the data from every lead, so Nexora Suite requires confirmation before deletion to prevent accidents.
